Terms of use

These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Citus Studio covering your use of the Citus Camera app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

Your photos are yours

Everything you create with Citus Camera, photos, edits and recipes, belongs entirely to you. We claim no rights to your work, and it never leaves your device through us (see the privacy policy).

Your licence to the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Citus Camera on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. The app, its film looks, design and code remain the property of Citus Studio. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or extract the app's looks or components, except where the law expressly permits.

Purchases

Some content, such as look packs or a Pro unlock, is offered as one-time in-app purchases handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. Prices are shown before you buy; purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on new devices with "Restore Purchases". Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's refund policy; we cannot process them directly.

Use the app responsibly

You are responsible for what you photograph and how you use it. Follow the law and respect other people's privacy and rights when shooting. Do not use the app in ways that could cause harm, for example while driving.

What we do not promise

Citus Camera is provided "as is". We work hard to make it excellent, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Camera behaviour varies across iPhone models and iOS versions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citus Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including lost images. Practical advice: keep iCloud Photos or another backup enabled; your photos live in your own photo library, not inside our app.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms as Citus Camera evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
